Nov 18-19th - I attended an arthroscopic latarjet UK steering group meeting and then taught on a Arthroscopic Latarjet training course at Warwick University.

Nov 4th - I attended the North West Upper Limb Group meeting in Haydock

Oct 12-13th - I attended training day in Arthrex Unit in Munich to assist in developing new techniques for use in the Upper Limb Centre

Oct 9 - 10th - I attended tips and tricks course in Elbow Surgery at Wrightington Hospital.

Sept - Charity bike ride completed and final total £8351.

July 4th - less than 1 month from charity ride, bike going in for service this weekend so will have to cut the grass instead of train! sponsore ship up to £4200

June25th - 27th - I attended British Shoulder and Elbow Society meeting in Nottingham for exchange of ideas and to review current developments in Shoulder and Elbow surgery.

June 1st - Sponsorship shirts have arrived and went for first training ride this morning wearing one. did 47 miles including ascent up hard side of Parbold Hill. Sponsorship currently at £3400

May 9th -  Donations raised for Cancer Research UK has now reached £3005.

May 6th - I attended the North West Upper Limb Group meeting and gave lecture on AC jt reconstruction.

March - New bike has arrived and training has started in preparation for charity cycle ride to Paris In July to raise money for Cancer research UK.

Dec 2nd-3rd - I attended Smith and Nephew Shoulder meeting in York Research Unit and gave lecture on decision making in glenoid bone block procedures for shoulder instability.

Nov 26th - I visited Dr Gervasi in Latisana Hospital near Venice in Northern Italy for a meeting of minds and to exchange ideas with regard to a number of controversial issues in modern shoulder surgery practice.

Oct 11th-12th  -  I attended 7th International Cadaveric shoulder replacement course in the University of Padova in Northern Italy. I gave 2 lectures on shoulder replacement and then spent day teaching other consultants from UK and Europe how to perform reverse total shoulder replacement using the LIMA SMR replacement system.

Oct 8th  -   I taught local GPs from Ormskirk at Elms Medical Practice

Sept 10th-11th  - I attended and  assisted at Arthroscopic Latarjet Training course as member of steering group.

July 2013  - I have beens invited to join Depuy-Stratec arthroscopic latarjet procedure steering group.

June 19th to 21st 2013 - I attended British Shoulder and Elbow Society Annual Meeting in Leicester.

May 17th 2013  -    I gave  lecture on AC Joint dislocation at North West Orthopeadic Trainees spring meeting held in Royal Preston Hospital.

May 14th 2013   -    I attended North West Upper Limb Group Meeting.

May 13th 2013   -    Due to bank holidays and an important clinical meeting there will not be a clinic until 4th June at Renacres hospital. Private patients can be seen earlier than this if required at the Euxton Hall Clinic.

May 12th 2013    -   The Upper Limb Centre new website goes live.
